Haiti -Day 1

Today, we went to Deux Mains and learned about turning tires into shoes and bags. they also made jewelry and lots of other things. Next, we went to Teach Haiti which is a school that taught from k-10th grade. But, continues on as they get older. Thirdly, we went to the sick and dying, and held kids and played with them for a while but it was sad when we had to leave. we shopped at Papillion where they made mugs, jewelry, and printed shirts. Overall, today was a very impactful day and we appreciated every minute of it.
